Welcome to Braemore Estates
Known to property professionals simply as “Braemore”, Braemore Estates is the trading name of Archibald Frame Limited (AFL), an Anglo-Scottish property development and investment company. The Company is 100 percent owned by William Frame, who has over 40 years’ experience within the property sector.
Since the Company was founded in 1988, Braemore has produced returns through a mix of residential and commercial investments and development projects. The portfolio is carefully monitored and managed to maximise profits. The higher yields of the commercial premises balance the lower yielding residential properties which in turn offer the potential for substantial capital gains due to high quality, low supply stock.
Over the Company’s 35 years and more a solid, evidenced track record has been established and maintained across all phases of the investment and development cycles.

William Frame is a successful and highly driven entrepreneur, with a wealth of experience in property investment. William has successfully managed a property business for nearly 30 years, Archibald Frame Limited t/a Braemore Estates, focussing on both development and longer term rental opportunities. The injection of modest capital (£13,000) coupled with the employment of innovative management techniques, the organically achieved operational highlights of Braemore Estates have included:
- Portfolio of 30 Properties with a value of £10.1m
- Developed and sold or retained several distinct portfolios (historical focus on Edinburgh, Scottish market towns and Central London (including Mayfair, Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Chiswick).
- Developed over 150 residential units and 125 commercial properties.
Outside of Braemore Estates, William also founded and grew a leading property letting business, Braemore Property Management Limited, which was successfully sold to private equity in 2010.
Do you offer individually tailored investment plans?
William is seeking to raise funding, or find strategic investment partners for Braemore Opportunity and Growth Investment (“Braemore”) to capitalise on the strengthening property market at a time when interest rates are low, demand outstrips supply and rental figures are rising. Braemore is flexible on the mechanism of the funding provision and would be prepared to accommodate both equity and debt for the optimal bespoke investment approach.
What investment opportunities are currently available?
In the first instance, Braemore is developing a site purchased in 2005 at Tomatin near Inverness, the gateway to the Scottish Highlands and Islands. The site formally housed a fuel station, small hotel and Little Chef, open daily from 7am till 10pm. The Tomatin Site has live planning permission for a 45 bedroom hotel. However, as a result of Braemore’s vision for investment in Scottish Food Culture and Tourism, and following significant discussions with Transport Scotland, Braemore has negotiated a more elaborate development plan to maximise the site’s potential. Now at submission stage for amended planning permission for a 97 bedroom hotel under a franchise with Holiday Inn Express, a farm shop and 200 seater restaurant, drive through bakery and food outlet, four retail units and fuel filling station, pulling on both local and national retailers and world renowned whisky brands.
